2010 Kia Magentis

For 2010, the Kia Magentis undergoes trim changes: a new top-end SX trim line is added to both four-cylinder and V6 models. Vanity mirrors also receive lighting, and there are new 16-inch wheel designs.
Sold as the Optima in the U.S., the Magentis is a sister car to the Hyundai Sonata. It uses a 2.4-litre four-cylinder or 2.7-litre V6. The four-cylinder comes with a five-speed manual in the base LX; that trim line can be optioned to a five-speed automatic that is the only choice on the other trim lines. The V6 uses the five-speed automatic.
Trim lines in the four-cylinder are the LX, LX Premium and SX; the V6 comes in LX and SX.
Features on the four-cylinder LX include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, chrome-accented grille, heated cloth seats with six-way manual driver’s adjustment, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, driver’s auto up/down window, power locks with keyless entry, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and USB port, illuminated vanity mirrors, cruise control, Eco-minder indicator, and active front head restraints.
The LX-V6 is similarly equipped, but adds 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
The LX Premium builds on the LX and adds 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, power sunroof, eight-way power driver’s seat, telescopic steering column, and trip computer.
The SX adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic temperature control, black bezel sport headlights, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, chrome exterior door handles, silver-accented interior handles, blacked-out sport grille, rain-sensing wipers, heated leather seats, aluminum interior accents, navigation system, premium stereo, Sirius satellite radio, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and paddle shifters, auto-dimming mirror with compass, Smart Key with pushbutton start, and garage door opener.
The SX-V6 is similarly equipped, but adds sport suspension and power-adjustable pedals.
